34 weeks along...

Yesterday I had my check up appointment and our lil sunshine is growing healthy & strong. Our last visit, two weeks ago, my ob said that our baby girl was breech. I am pleased to say that our baby girl is no longer breech and she is in the 'ready' position. :) She continues to actively move around in my belly day & night. When I say day & night, I really mean it. I feel like she's ready to come out because of that. Our lil baby giant probably has no room. Poor thing. Lol. She's so gonna take after her daddy.
Today, I just felt awfully tired so,I took many naps throughout the day and I'm still ready to go to bed. Lol. While I was napping, I had two minor contractions that lasted for only about a minute to two, thank goodness. I know that as my pregnancy progresses the pain will only get worse. Yikes! I think I'm prepared. Well, I know I'll be more excited and hoping that excitement will help me overcome the pain. :)

Two weeks until my next appt and then it's down to weekly check ups. Yay!

Lovely Monday emails :)

I just received a lovely email from my little brother Elder Lasitani who is serving a full time mission in Orlando, Florida. (Spanish speaking) I love when he shares some of his spiritual experiences or writes about a lesson that he taught that always ends up really helping me out and something that I needed to hear, like today's email. John (my husband) and I plan on getting sealed in the temple sometime this summer. We're both trying to prepare ourselves spiritually and mentally so we have a better understanding of what being sealed as a family for time and all eternity really means. Elder Lasitani just reminded me of some of the basic guidelines that any member, active or inactive, of the church needs to do to build a firm foundation, which we then can build on. The basics are CPR, abbreviation for CHURCH, PRAYER, and READiNG. I love that...CPR! :) Like cardiopulmonary resuscitation (a procedure to support and maintain a persons breathing and circulation for a person who has stopped breathing), Church, prayer and reading are guidelines to support and maintain a members spirit and foundation for members who are inactive, as well as  those who are active or non-members. I hope that makes sense. Lol. That is exactly what John and I are doing. I love that Elder Lasitani gives us a reminder. At times we lack some of those guidelines, but the great thing about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is that we can repent and do better. We attend church (John when he isn't working Sunday's), taking temple prep, saying morning and evening prayers, and reading and pondering the scriptures. John has visits with our amazing bishop every couple weeks and we get weekly visits from the missionaries. :) We're getting there! I'm grateful for Elder Lasitani's spiritual emails! Also, love that we can still have normal conversations over emails and laugh.
Love&Miss you little brother! RTW!

New kid on the blog...

I don't know where to begin, but here I go....

I've heard about blogging for years now, but I've never had any interest in it until now. My sister in-law Lota brought it up a few nights ago, while watching our husbands play church ball, and I thought, what the heck?...it'll be something to do and maybe in some way or another my life will inspire someone. Lol. I don't know, but it's a lot better than WRiTiNG in a journal. After a while, my fingers start to cramp up and my writing starts to get sloppy. I do wonder though if people blog about the bad&ugly or do they just blog about the good&happy things. We'll see where this takes me and what mood I might be in to blog about things. Bare with me. :) Honestly though, we do have bad&ugly days, but we definitely are HAPPiLY MARRiED and we have more good days then bad.
Short.Simple&Sweet. This summarizes our marriage.

This is our life&story and I'm pleased to inform you that this is...'OUR LiFE' :) and we're happy to share it with YOU! Enjoy :) Other than that, I've enjoyed customizing my page (I'm starting to get the hang of things) since I can't sleep and my husband is working graves.
